Where can I find available assignments?

The available assignments can be found in the Brainnet portal. To access this portal, you have to register at Brainnet. You will receive account details to gain access to the portal and thus the assignments.

Will I receive a one-off contract that applies to all employers via Brainnet?

No, we have a separate contract for each employer. We implement the different purchasing conditions of each employer.

Why is a Pre-employment Screening necessary?

A good pre-employment screening is necessary to check whether professionals actually have the right qualifications, papers, diplomas, and verified references. Checking this prevents the employers from being confronted with surprises afterwards.

How do I know if my screening documents have been received and processed?

After reviewing each screening document, we will inform you via the portal. You can find the actual status of the screening in the portal.

What information do you need to be able to apply for a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) digitally?

In The Netherlands a Certificate of Good Conduct is called a VOG. Brainnet can start the digital VOG request. To apply for the VOG digitally , we need the following information:

  • Your surname
  • Your date of birth
  • Your e-mail address that is linked to your DigiD
  • Possibility to pay with iDeal

Is it necessary to make an appointment if I want to come by to show some required documents?

Making an appointment is not necessary. On workdays, you can visit us between 8:30 and 17:00.  Coffee or tea is always ready!

When can I send an invoice to Brainnet for my worked hours?

You can invoice after four weeks or after the end of the calendar month. This can differ per employer. A signed timesheet must be included with the invoice.

When will my outstanding invoice be paid?

Outstanding invoices are paid when the tax risk cover is in order, we have the signed Service contract in our possession and the due date has expired. It is also possible to use our quick payment service.

I would like my invoices to be paid quickly, how do you ensure this?

If your invoice meets the formal requirements and the stated tax requirements, we will pay your invoice within 35 days. If an employer uses different standard terms, we will use these. We can imagine that as an entrepreneur you (sometimes) want to be paid faster. This is possible. We offer you a number of options. You choose which payment term suits you best. Are you satisfied with the current payment term? Then nothing changes for you.

How do I know if Brainnet has already received my contract details?

As soon as the pre-employment screening is completed, we will receive the contract from the employer. This will be processed within 5 working days and we will then send your contracts to you.

Why do you need a recent Chamber of Commerce extract?

The extract is necessary because that we must be able to trace the person authorised to sign as natural person and not as company. The Chamber of Commerce extract contains the necessary data.

Are there any relationship and competition clauses at Brainnet?

No, Brainnet has no relationship clauses and competition clauses. We think it is incorrect to contractually shield our joint client from you.

I want to negotiate the conditions in my contract. Is this possible?

Brainnet is bound by the contracts concluded with the different employers. They have explicitly requested that these contracts should not be amended. This creates a level playing field for all independent professionals and suppliers.
